► Flowmaster Inserter Operator

We’re looking to expand our team of skilled inserter operators.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• set up Flowmaster inserter
• set up inkjet lines (Kodak Prosper)
• maintain productivity on machine
• deliver a quality product while meeting all production deadlines
• load materials, clear jams, and correct other simple malfunctions as needed
• complete and maintain operator logs including output and productivity
• sort mail in accordance with the USPS Sorting Guide
• maintain good housekeeping in work area

Qualifications

• strong mechanical skills
• Inkjet setup preferred and maintenance experience desired
• Inserter experience (Flowmaster inserter preferred)
• knowledge of postal preparation requirements a plus
• adjust immediately to changing priorities as determined by management
• strong work ethic -- reliable and dependable
• good attention to detail
• ability to follow instructions
• ability to work both individually and on a team
• excellent communication skills

► Plate Maker - PrePress Operator, 2^nd Shift

We’re looking to expand our team of PrePress operators!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Setting up customer files for printing to their specifications
• Preflight, trapping, and sending files for print
• Send out PDF proofs for approvals
• Preparing and checking files for color accuracy, resolution, and appropriate file format conversion
• Utilizing Kodak Prinergy or AGFA Apogee workflow systems to process digital files for print production
• Creating digital and high-res color match proofs for client’s final approval
• Collaborating with clients, and production team members to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery
• Preparing plate layouts
• Preparing offset printing plates ensuring accuracy and quality according to job specifications

Qualifications

• Proficient on Mac/PC computer and page layout programs: InDesign, Acrobat, Pitstop, Kodak Prinergy Preps, AGFA Apogee, Excel, SmartStream
• Must be able to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities
• Must have an excellent eye for detail

► Commercial Web Offset Press Operator

We’re looking to expand our team of skilled pressman with Sunday 2000 and/or M1000 sheeter or in-line web offset experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Make ready press (Sunday 2000 or M1000) to run jobs based on job ticket instructions
• Provide leadership to entire press crew, while increasing efficiency and quality on every project
• Ensure quality through customer or company standard guidelines for each project
• Identify mechanical issues as they arise working in tandem with our maintenance team
• Communicate real time information regarding job progress and/or issues during production

Qualifications

• Must be able to multi-task
• Possess a team oriented, collaborative approach to daily responsibilities
• Can troubleshoot to provide the most efficient solution to problems as they arise
• Can manage, lead and mentor crew members
• Organized and thorough

Experience

• 1^st or 2^nd pressman role
• 10+ years experience
• Knowledge of Sunday or M1000 web offset presses, in-line web and inkjet variable imaging a plus
